Why do my new rear drums rub while in drive, but not when break pedal is depressed?
I just replaced my rear drums yesterday on a 2000 Dodge Stratus. Now the passenger side rear sounds like it is rubbing/scraping something inside. The odd thing is that when I actually press the brakes, the sound goes away. Does anyone know what could be rubbing since the drum itself and the rim are basically flush and spin together?
Something has come loose inside the drum. Remove it and see what’s going on>
